Agarwood Export Disclaimer

Agarwood Export is an independent sourcing broker and information hub operated by Juara Holding Group — not a government permit office, not the owner of the material we help source, and not a licensed legal, tax, or financial adviser. Because agarwood (Aquilaria) is listed on CITES Appendix II, any legal export requires a CITES export permit and a BKSDA recommendation. Every price shown here is indicative, as of 2026, and subject to change.

What is this website, and what is it not?

This site publishes educational material on Indonesian agarwood (gaharu) — grading, plantation versus wild sourcing, price bands, and the CITES permit process. It is a starting point for research and a route to a sourcing conversation, nothing more.

Agarwood Export does not issue permits, does not certify shipments, and does not act as a customs clearing agent. We connect legitimate buyers with vetted, legal, plantation-first supply and help coordinate the paperwork trail with licensed partners. The information here is general in nature and may not reflect the most recent regulatory changes. Always confirm the current requirements with the CITES Management Authority (Indonesia) and the authority in your import country before you commit to any purchase or shipment.

Who operates Agarwood Export?

Agarwood Export is operated by Juara Holding Group, which runs the trade desk that answers enquiries submitted through this site. Juara Holding Group acts as a concierge and broker — arranging supply via vetted licensed partners — and does not present itself as the grower, the exporter of record, or a regulatory body. Where material is not owned by us, it is sourced and shipped through those partners under their own licences.

We do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. Statements on this site about permits, quotas, and taxes are summaries of publicly documented rules, not professional guidance for your specific transaction. Engage your own licensed customs broker, lawyer, or CITES consultant for any decision that carries legal or financial weight.

What do our CITES and legal statements mean?

Most Aquilaria and Gyrinops species are listed under CITES Appendix II. International trade is permitted but regulated: a legal export needs a CITES export permit plus a BKSDA recommendation, and is subject to a Non-Detriment Finding (NDF) confirming that trade will not harm wild populations. Indonesia’s 2024 NDF set a wild Aquilaria malaccensis quota of 24,110 kg. CITES paperwork also distinguishes source code W (wild) from P (plantation), and plantation material is generally easier to permit.

Agarwood Export is plantation-first. We never promote, arrange, or facilitate illegal wild-harvest, and we will decline any enquiry that asks us to bypass permits, falsify source codes, or move material outside the legal framework. Nothing on this site should be read as encouragement to harvest, buy, or export agarwood without the correct documentation.

Are the prices on this site guaranteed?

No. Agarwood is graded material, so price is a grade-dependent band, not a single number. The figures below are indicative only, as of 2026, and a final quote confirms grade and scope.

Product Indicative band (as of 2026) Notes
Plantation agarwood chips USD 500-7,000 / kg Grade-dependent, low-resin to super
Oud / agarwood oil USD 30,000-80,000 / kg Grade and distillation dependent

Prices move with grade, resin content, harvest source, currency, and market conditions. They are provided for orientation and do not constitute an offer. A binding figure is only ever the written quote issued after we assess your specific grade, volume, and destination.

What will we never do?

Some boundaries do not bend. This table sets them out plainly.

Connect buyers with legal, plantation-first supply Promote or facilitate illegal wild-harvest
Coordinate paperwork with vetted licensed partners Falsify source codes or bypass documentation

How do we handle your data?

When you contact us through the WhatsApp number, the email address, or the enquiry form, you share personal data such as your name, contact details, destination, and cargo particulars. We process that data only to respond to your enquiry and coordinate a quote.

For visitors in Indonesia, we align with Undang-Undang No. 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Pelindungan Data Pribadi (the Personal Data Protection Law, UU PDP). For visitors in the European Union and United Kingdom, we recognise the expectations set by the GDPR. In practice that means:

  • We collect only the data you choose to send us.
  • We use it to answer your enquiry, not to sell to third parties.
  • We share it only with the vetted licensed partners needed to fulfil your request.
  • You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time.

What are our quote and booking terms?

We aim to respond to a complete enquiry within 24 business hours. A quote is an estimate based on the information you provide; it is not a reservation and does not guarantee availability, permit issuance, or customs clearance. Timelines for permits and shipping depend on third parties and government processing that sit outside our control.

We never sell permit certainty and we never guarantee outcomes. Any transaction proceeds under a separate written agreement with the relevant supplier or partner, on their terms, and subject to the buyer completing their own import-country due diligence.

What are the limits of our liability?

Agarwood Export publishes this information in good faith but makes no warranty that it is complete, current, or fit for your particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for losses arising from reliance on general information published here, from regulatory changes, or from the acts of third-party suppliers, shippers, or authorities. Your use of this site confirms that you understand it is an information and sourcing resource, not professional or legal advice.
