Agarwood Export runs agarwoodexport.com as an educational hub and a sourcing broker for plantation-first Indonesian agarwood (gaharu) chips and oud oil. We connect overseas buyers with vetted, legal, sustainable supply, and we publish grading, pricing, and permit-process guidance so you can buy with your eyes open.
We are a broker and information service — not a government body. We do not issue permits, we do not grade on behalf of any authority, and we do not provide licensed legal, customs, or tax advice. Are your quotes and published prices binding?
No. Agarwood is graded material, and price follows grade, so we publish a grade-dependent band rather than a single number. As of 2026, indicative figures are USD 500-7,000 per kilogram for plantation agarwood chips (low-resin to super grade) and USD 30,000-80,000 per kilogram for oud and agarwood oil. These are indicative only; the final quote confirms grade and scope.
A quote we send is an invitation to proceed, not a fixed contract. Prices depend on grade verification (density, resin saturation, and aroma), quantity, source, permits, and shipping route, all of which are confirmed before you commit. Figures are date-stamped and should be checked before you rely on them, because grades, quotas, and fees change.
Do you issue CITES permits or guarantee customs clearance?
No, and this is the most important line on the page. Most Aquilaria and Gyrinops species are listed under CITES Appendix II, so international trade is allowed but regulated. Legal export requires a CITES export permit plus a BKSDA recommendation, and is subject to a Non-Detriment Finding confirming the trade will not harm wild populations — Indonesia’s 2024 finding set a wild Aquilaria malaccensis quota of 24,110 kilograms.
We help you understand and prepare for that process, but issuance sits with the designated CITES Management Authority in Indonesia, working through the Ministry of Forestry and regional forestry offices. CITES paperwork distinguishes source code W (wild) from P (plantation), and plantation material is generally easier to permit and more sustainable — which is why we source plantation-first and will not promote or facilitate illegal wild-harvest. We never sell permit certainty and never guarantee customs clearance. Always confirm current requirements with the CITES Management Authority (Indonesia) and the authorities in your import country.
How is your personal data handled under UU PDP and GDPR?
When you contact us, we collect only what we need to answer you: your name, your email address, your destination or port, your cargo type, and your message. We use this to prepare a quote and manage your enquiry — nothing more.
If you are in Indonesia, our handling of your personal data is governed by Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (Undang-Undang Pelindungan Data Pribadi, UU PDP). What is the limitation of liability?
This site is provided “as is.” We take reasonable care to keep grading, pricing, and regulatory information accurate, but conventions and rules change — agarwood grading systems are industry customs that vary by region and are not an official Indonesian national standard, and quotas and fees are revised over time.
Our liability is limited to any fee you have paid us for the specific sourcing service concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit, shipping delays, customs holds, permit refusals, or disputes with a supplier. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. You remain responsible for your own purchase decisions, for securing the correct CITES export permit and BKSDA recommendation, and for meeting the import rules of your destination country.
How do enquiries, quotes, and bookings work?
Send an enquiry by WhatsApp, email, or the on-site form. We reply with an indicative quote within 24 business hours. A quote becomes an order only when you confirm it in writing, grade and scope are verified, and any agreed deposit is received. Bookings, invoicing, and reservations are administered by Juara Holding Group using the contact routes above. Moving processed agarwood between Indonesian regions can also require a wood transport permit (Surat Angkutan Kayu Olahan, SAKO) from the local forest authority; we flag such steps but do not issue them.
Which law governs these terms, and how do you reach us?
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and any dispute arising from them or our services will be handled under Indonesian law. We may revise these terms from time to time, and the current version always carries its date.
